After over fours centuries of glass-making, we feel that Inge-Glas is really hitting their stride and producing what are simply the finest glass Christmas ornaments being made in all of Germany today. I realize that this is quite a statement, but I stand by it. Many of you may have started collecting Inge-Glas when they were the exclusive supplier of Old World Christmas. Some years back they split and since then we have been able to import ourselves direct from Germany and offer their ornaments at great prices.

Inge-Glas introduced their Heirloom collection in 2009 , and they were a sellout for us . I pointed out the wonderful detail in the painting , especially the faces , which I compared to Hummels . I turned out to be right on the money . Inge-Glas had hired a half-dozen of master painters who worked for Goebel painting MI Hummel figurines , after the factory shut down . In my opinion , the Heirloom ornaments are finer than Radko , and about half the price .
